Description

A Perlas at 40 × 102mm, the smallest cigar in Montecristo's regular range. Woody, very soft on the palate, faintly earthy and spiced, with a light sweetness that carries gently through. The draw is very good, the burn excellent and the ash medium grey. The wrapper is a light, very thin leaf and the aroma intense tobacco with sweet, fresh notes. Medium to strong. The one to keep in a jacket pocket when there is no time for a No. 4.

Frequently asked questions about Montecristo N.5 (25)

What does Montecristo N.5 (25) taste like?

Montecristo N.5 (25) shows notes of earthy. Those come from the blend itself rather than any added flavouring — every cigar we sell is a natural, hand-rolled premium cigar. Tasting notes shift with how the cigar is stored and how slowly you smoke it, so treat this as the profile to expect rather than a guarantee.

How strong is Montecristo N.5 (25)?

Montecristo N.5 (25) is a Medium–Full cigar. On the five-point scale used across this catalogue, that is where it sits relative to everything else we stock. Strength describes nicotine impact, not flavour intensity — a mild cigar can still be highly flavourful, and a full one can be smooth.

What size is Montecristo N.5 (25)?

Montecristo N.5 (25) is a Perlas, 102mm long with a ring gauge of 40. Ring gauge is the diameter in 64ths of an inch, so a larger number means a thicker cigar and generally a cooler, slower smoke. It is sold as a box of 25.

Where is Montecristo N.5 (25) made?

Montecristo N.5 (25) is made in Cuba. Origin is the single biggest influence on a cigar's character: Cuban Habanos lean earthy and spicy, Nicaraguan tobacco tends to be bolder and sweeter, and Dominican blends are usually the most approachable of the three.

Is Montecristo N.5 (25) authentic, and how do I buy it?

Yes. Montecristo N.5 (25) arrives with its seals and box codes intact, and if a box is not what we described it comes back at our cost. Add it to the cart and check out in three steps — no account needed. We email an order reference, then send bank transfer or crypto details; nothing is charged automatically.
