Description
A panatela at 31 ring gauge and 100mm, six to a pack. Richer than its size suggests: creamy cocoa and espresso up front, with cedar, roasted nuts and enough black pepper to stop it turning sweet. The draw is smooth and gives plenty of smoke, and the finish grows spicier as it goes. The wrapper is oily and deep mahogany with a fine tooth. It burns slowly and cleanly, holding its line, and the ash is firm and light grey. Warm cedar and leather on the nose, with cocoa and a sweet baking spice on the retrohale.
