Description
A Laguito No. 2 at 38 × 152mm — long and slender, the shape Cohiba was built on before the thicker Siglo formats arrived. The palate is bitter and very dry with spice and wood over a soft sweetness. Aroma is intense tobacco and wood, very dry, with honey, pepper and leather behind it. The wrapper is a natural brown with lighter tints, the burn very regular, the ash dark grey. Strong. At 38 ring gauge the wrapper does a lot of the talking, which is exactly the point of the format.
Frequently asked questions about Cohiba Coronas Especiales (25)
What does Cohiba Coronas Especiales (25) taste like?
Cohiba Coronas Especiales (25) shows notes of honey and leather. Those come from the blend itself rather than any added flavouring — every cigar we sell is a natural, hand-rolled premium cigar. Tasting notes shift with how the cigar is stored and how slowly you smoke it, so treat this as the profile to expect rather than a guarantee.
How strong is Cohiba Coronas Especiales (25)?
Cohiba Coronas Especiales (25) is a Medium cigar. On the five-point scale used across this catalogue, that is where it sits relative to everything else we stock. Strength describes nicotine impact, not flavour intensity — a mild cigar can still be highly flavourful, and a full one can be smooth.
What size is Cohiba Coronas Especiales (25)?
Cohiba Coronas Especiales (25) is a Laguito Nº2, 152mm long with a ring gauge of 38. Ring gauge is the diameter in 64ths of an inch, so a larger number means a thicker cigar and generally a cooler, slower smoke. It is sold as a box of 25.
Where is Cohiba Coronas Especiales (25) made?
Cohiba Coronas Especiales (25) is made in Cuba. Origin is the single biggest influence on a cigar's character: Cuban Habanos lean earthy and spicy, Nicaraguan tobacco tends to be bolder and sweeter, and Dominican blends are usually the most approachable of the three.
Is Cohiba Coronas Especiales (25) authentic, and how do I buy it?
