Short Robusto cigars

A short robusto keeps a robusto's ring gauge but loses an inch or so of length, giving you the same thickness of blend in thirty to forty-five minutes rather than an hour. It is the format to reach for when you want a proper cigar but not a proper commitment — after lunch, or when the weather will not hold. Because the smoke travels a shorter distance to the palate, these tend to read slightly stronger than their full-length counterparts.
